I'm single mom and currently working in Canada with one-year work permit. I'd like to find out how to get my 10-yr-old daughter to accampany me in Canada now that I've settled here. My sister who is an American Citizen is willing to travel with my daughter. What application form shall I need to submit for her visa? Can I file it here in Canada?

Assuming that the citizenship of your daughter is American, she may seek admission to Canada as a visitor for up to 6 months at a Canadian port of entry. This may be extended inland. Otherwise, an application for admission as a visitor may be submitted to a Canadian visa office in the jurisdiction of your daughter's residence.
