My spouse is going to be on a year-long sabbatical in Canada and we are moving there with our three children. We are U.S. citizens. I will continue to work for my current company which is based in the U.S. and has no foreign offices. I will be tele- or virtual commuting with occasional trips to the U.S. for work. I do not need a job and will not be entering the Canadian labor market. Do I need a work permit or other documentation related to my job?
