Hello,
I am working for a small foreign company that has a customer in canada. My role makes it necessary that I work on site at the customer most of the time. That classifies me temporarily as a business visitor, but the engagment is very long.
I am not seeking to be employed by a canadian company, but want to continue for the foreign company. I get paid outside of canada, but I expect to stay more that 180 days a year in canada and therefore have probably to pay taxes in canada.
I also considered that my company could open a susidiary in canada, but did not find an easy way to do this.
Is there any standard way to deal with this? I seen something about "Service Canada Confirmation", but did not find resources what that is exactly and how to get it.
Thanx.
