Work visa and Spouse visitor visa

Postby spoonman on Mon Jul 16, 2007 9:19 pm

Hi

Im a work visa Holder that expires on July 31 (15 more days), I would like that my wife and my son expend some days with me before we leave Canada.

Questions :

is it too late for them to ask for a visitor visa ?, if the answer in NO (its not late) is her visitor visa going to expire on July 31 as well ?

Also Im asking for a visa extension ..if a get a 2 years extension can my wife and my son apply for a 2 years visitor extension too ??

Thank you in advance

The proper approach is for them to seek a temporary resident visa extension through an inland application submitted by mail or courier to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, AB. In your own extension application, you could have requested this at the same time; otherwise, they can subsequently seek an extension of their status to coincide with your own extension.
