I have read ur email! I am here in canada for past more than 5 years. - and going through all tht stages.

The advice for you is:

Although u have applied for PR - in new delhi - time wont run fast u ll have to wait for as many years it takes for PR to be completed.

However there are ways to bybass this time. If you can find an employer in canada who is willing to hire you and can give u an offer letter in ur field of work - then you will need to apply for a work permit from New delhi India. It will be great!!! - if this employer can get a HRDC clearance from here in canada ... tht means tht employer have done enough efforts to find a canadian but was in vain and so he is hiring you. I know you are in India and it will be v hard to find tht kind of employer from there. - Just reminding you ur immigration application have nothing to do with this process.

Now if you can go on website look for canadian employers in ur field apply for jobs there... if u get interview calls and u pass it. then - employer give u an offer letter .. go to new delhi with all documentations and apply for work permit. Once u get it u can come here. on tht work permit. apply immigration in buffalo US then from canada. Closest Immig office outside canada is Buffalo US canadian counslate. and then u can get immig in .. 1.5 - 2 years and u ll be in canada for the duration of the towk permit so wont make much of a diffrence. to you .. right?

Now comming back to ifnding an employer try to look for an employer most importantly in Allberta, New brunswik or other province tht have labor shortage -

check cic website and look for provincial immigration - if u can find an employre in these provicence - u can get immiration in 8 monhts!!! once u come here on work permit!
