i have applied for a work permit under the category of Intra-company transfer 5 weeks ago in Abu Dhabi, but until now i haven't recieved any news.

according to embassy's regional website, they don't entertain follow-up within the 6-week processing period. But it seems waiting for 6 weeks only to be denied is quite harsh and frustrating, so i want to know what's going on if possible.

hence my questions: what do you think happens now with my work permit application? is it already in process? is there a possibility that it will be denied? after how many days or weeks normally it will take for the embassy to Deny this kind of application?

i believe i forwarded all documents and information required. My canadian employer too used a company lawyer to help me out with "outside canada" work permit application.
