Work Permit and Change of employer

Hi : Im working on Canada have a 2 years work permit , and I want to change of employer , how long does it take to get a new workpermit ? and what will be the new lenght of my new workpermit if it positive ??

Hey Rodrigo .. The information on CIC is not clear enough

the one Received Up To June 30, 2007 = 75 days...what about if apply next week how long does it take ..thats the question ...

Hi,

Nobody knows. Depends on the number of applications. The average processing time for work permit extension is 60 days. The CIC recommends that you apply at least 60 days prior the expiration date of your visa.

I would apply at least 90 days before.

Regarding the duration of your new work permit, it depends on the labour market opinion issued by HRDC and the lenght of stay you asked for.
