Michigan based Professional photographer seeking necessary permits to work in Canada, primarily youth sporting events. Is there any advise out there? Thanks

Is there a specific project arranged in Canada? That is typically the first step. With that, the common rule is that a Labour Market Opinion would be required in order to be able to obtain a work permit, although exceptions could exist if you are doing work for a non-Canadian entity.

I've been asked by various hockey clubs (Canadian) Humberville Sharks, London Knights, Oakville Rangers and clubs in the Etobecoke area to bring my photo style the there tournaments. Without any knowledge of the necessary permits, to this point I've only been able to respectfully decline. How to persue?

You would require a Labour Market Opinion Confirmation/Approval and then a work permit for any given project of this type that you wish to pursue.
