In November 2007 we send our application for a permanent Resident Visa (Skilled Worker) to Berlin (we're from The Netherlands).

Now there is a chance Wim can transfer within his company to one of their Canadian departments.

Will this lead to any changes in our current immigration process? I saw that they ask for your PR filenumber when applying for a work permit but I can't find anywhere on the net what they're doing with it.

There is no negative impact on a pending PR application as a direct result of obtaining a temporary work permit.
