Visitor Visas for Work Permit Dependent

Postby neelpatel1981 on Sat Aug 13, 2011 4:15 pm

Hello, my self is Neel and i am an Indian, i am in Canada as an Intra-Company transferee as Chief Executive Officer from my Indian company to Canadian branch.. I arrived in Canada on June 20th 2011, now my question is as below.

In March 2011, i was visiting my Parents in Uganda and my wife was on a student visa in Uganda, that time me and my wife applied Canadian Business visas to go and attend New prouct launching in our Canadian company but unfortunately we both got rejected. The we went back to India and again from India i applied in June for Intra-Company transferee for 16 months and this time they issued me a work permit as High Skilled category level "0" , but i didn't included my wife as accompanying me, i filled her details but didn't included her name as accomapnying me, but now i wana apply for her as Visitor to come and stay with me for short stay about 3 weeks or so, my wife is handelling my company in india in absence of me.

What are the chances for her to get this visitor visas this time, i sent her my canadian bank account stats., my SIN Details, My Payroll details, and house rent agreement and all doccs.

Previously we both rejected togather as Business visitor but i got Work Permit later , now her turn is it going to affect previous rejection in her case or conditioned changed this time?

anotherthing as i am high skilled worker when can i apply PR ? and how you can help in this?

Please reply me

Visitor visa applications are highly discretionary; it is very difficult to predict the likelihood of success. If she can satisfy the officials that she is likely to depart Canada at such time as her prospective temporary status expires, then an application should be approved. Documentary evidence of ties to her home country can be used to help attest to this.

Based on what you are saying, Arranged Employment would not apply and your occupation is not considered eligible in the Skilled Worker program at the moment. If so, the Canadian Experience Class may be an option, which would mean that you require two years of work in Canada with a work permit to be eligible.
