Hi,
I have a work permit valid till Sep of this year. I entered Canada originally with a student Visa and it expired a long time back. I need to go to LA, US for my Interview for Permanent Residenship application. Will I be able to return to Canada with just a valid work permit or Do I need to apply and get a work visa while I'm in US?

Unless you are otherwise visitor visa exempt, you will need to seek a new temporary resident (i.e., visitor) visa to return to Canada.
