VISA type (WX-1) mismatch with Application document

Hi, I am applying for work permit VISA of Canada now, yestoday, I got the approval of VISA WX-1, but, my application document ask for work permit (4 months), it is mismatch here. my company's agent considered that I can't enter Canada with this VISA, they ask me to re-apply to consulate general locally! I was consult the issue with employee of local consulate general, they told me that officer local consider I don't need W-1 VISA even my document apply for it? how can I do at the moment? please guide me?

The immigration official who issued the WX-1 may have done so because they were not satisfied that you were eligible for a work permit and the circumstances of the case favoured a business visitor visa. However, if you submitted a complete application for a work permit and the appropriate fees, then the case should have been considered as such, even if it meant a negative decision.

If a work permit is mandatory in your situation, then you can seek to resubmit the application with a written explanation of the need for such.
