Visa paperwork

Postby Vet21 on Tue May 11, 2010 11:47 am

Hi. I have a formal job offer to work for a year in Canada. Its a medical internship. I am veterinarian. What paperwork do I need to get a work visa at the border. I have my letter from the hospital, my passport, driver's license and college transcripts with my medical degree. Is there a certain form I need. I heard it costs $50, is this american dollars?

Thank you,
Christina

Applications at ports of entry do not make use of forms, relying instead of evidence of the Canadian work and of the compliance with program requirements presented by the candidate. A determination of the supporting documentation of a case would otherwise require a more detailed review of the case.

Work permit processing fees are CAD$150.
