Urgent: what to do after LMO Refusal

Postby hworld on Fri Feb 18, 2011 3:04 pm

Hi,

My potential employer just informed me that the LMO applicaiton got a negative reply from. This is due to:
- wage difference not consistent
- not able to demo sufficient efforts to hire canadians

What should be the next step? Can my employer discuss with the LMO program officer to reconsider the case, or have to submit a new application with more evidence (can this put any negative impact on the application since there was already one being refused)?

Thanks a bunch,

hworld

Based on the information provided, a new application would likely be needed after the issues identified by the government have been rectified by the employer. A request for review is possible, but there is nothing to suggest that would have a benefit to the case.
