Hi,

I have applied the temporary work permit for 1 year and dependent visa for my spouse on the same duration from India.

I and my spouse have submitted the application package via VFS and it has been reached to Canada High Comission, New Delhi on 26th July 2011. This application package contains all necessary documents like LMO, Offer letter for the current company, Bank statements, Education certificates, Medical examinations certificates etc..

I am checking my application status in "http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visatracking.html" website. Still i am getting the same message like "Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 26/07/2011 and is under processing." for the past one month.

I hope, this work permit process usually takes maximum one month. I didn't receive any queries from VISA office. I have to be in Canada on Sep 1st 2011. But, still i didn't receive it. Can some one please help me, how long it will take still?

Current stated delays for New Delhi cases are 2 months. For a permit of 6 months or more, the execution and processing of medical examinations may be a significant portion of that time.
