I have been in Canada for 3 years and my visa will be expired in November 2010. I was entitled to apply for PR but I wasn't able to do it when I was working with my employer. I just recently done with my contract. I was looking for a new job that assist me with LMO but I was frustrated because none was willing to asist me with LMO to get to the regular job. Finaly I apply for job live in caregiver and I got job offer and they apply for the LMO. I received the postive Labour Market Opinion.

My question is what are the next steps to aquire a new work permit? (my old work permit was issued for Ontario but i worked in Saskatchewan for the last year of the contract) Do I need to fill out forms saying i was working in another province? If my new work permit is approved where do i pick it up?

With a Labour Market Opinion approved, you must now apply for the work permit. Your options include submission of such an application to a visa office outside of Canada (work permit collected at port of entry) or the inland Case Processing Centre in Vegreville (work permit mailed within Canada), Alberta. Depending on nationality, a port of entry application may also be viable.

There is no form that exists which states you were working in a location other than that in which you were approved. However, you may be considered to have been working illegally during that time.
