we came to canada on 3rd april 2010.My husband came here on a intra-company transfer and i accompanied him.he was given a work permit till april 2011 but i was given a open work permit only till feb 2011 i.e till the validity of my passport.Now i have a new passport and my husband's company is filing for our extension.
i want to know if i should also include the photocopies of my old passport along with the new one.esp the page with the stamp that i received at the port of entry.
Or should i include only the photocopies of the new passport along with the copy of the old open work permit and other docs.
* to sum up is it recomended to include the photocopies of the OLD passport that was used when i first entered canada.Both my trv (valid till jan 2011) and open work permit is in the old passport.
** or will including both the old and the new passports confuse the immigration and so only the new passport with all other documents should be included.

If applying inland, you would need to include a copy of the page bearing the most recent stamp from admission to Canada. If this is on your old passport, you may wish to include such with an indication that this is from an expired passport. There is otherwise no requirement that you submit old passport copies.
