unemployed,waiting for visa

Hi. This site has been very informative. I am a Filipino Nurse and currently waiting for a temporary work visa as a nursing attendant. I only have volunteer work experience but the employer hired me and I now have the LMO and contract. I also took the ielts and got a bandscore of 7 in all areas. The problem is, I am in between jobs at the moment, waiting for the hospital where I trained to hire me. Do you think my current employment status can be used as grounds for visa rejection?

Current employment status is not - in itself - a factor in the determination of work permit applications.

thank you for that information. I have read that sometimes work visas are rejected because of no ties to the country of origin. Does this apply to me since I'm 23 years old, single and unemployed during my visa application?
