What is the total processing time for temporary work permit for the provincial nominee's of Alberta. As my husband has applied for Temporary Work Permit at Canadian Embassy Detroit. They are saying it takes almost 28 working days plus wait period for few countries 5-15 days. And our time period is already over. Please advise.

Given recent changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, delays are tending to be longer than usual. Delays of over 60 days are not uncommon at present.
