temporary worker visa

Postby alperdogan on Sun Oct 14, 2007 6:07 pm

hello,

i have been working in Canada between May 2007 and October 2007, and i hold a multiple-entry temporary worker (w-1) visa in my passport. I am a Turkish citizen, and my original work permit expires on March 30, 3008. I went back home to Turkey for two weeks and now I am in the US, working here..

My question is: I am planning to come to Canada in November (next month), so can I still enter Canada with my current visa and work permit, even though I am only going to be staying for a couple of days?

thanks a lot for your feedback in advance,

Alp

With a multiple entry visitor visa, you have the authority to return to the port of entry to seek temporary admission to Canada. The immigration official at the port of entry will evaluate your admissibility at that time, and may seek evidence of your intention to depart by the March 30 expiration date stated.
