Hi,
I had applied for CA work permit(W-1 category) for duration of 6 months, but some how I got visa validity for 1.5 years. Visa shows expiry date 1.5 yrs ahead from date of application.

1> Is this a valid case?
2> Is it valid if i travel at any time, within validity time frame?
3> Also is there a official way to get information in this case.
4> Also my travel was delayed and I have new invite letter(same employer) for duration of 6 months. Do i need to reapply for work permit???

Any help or pointers would be helpful. Thanking in advance.

Without knowing the details of your application, it is difficult to speculate as to the nature of the visa you have been granted. Questions about its validity and use would have to be directed to the visa office that you applied to.
