I am US citizen scheduled to work full-time temporarily in Canada for several months on an IT project and traveling to Canada weekly from the US. I am submitting an application for a work permit. I have 2 questions:
1. Can I enter Canada before the work permit is finalised as long as I have my completed and paid application with me?
2. Do I need an LMO to submit with my work permit application?

- no, you cannot commence work in Canada prior to the issuance of a work permit.
