I have a job offer fron a company in Canada and i'm qualified under NOC as a software developer for a temporary work permit.

My question is, will my husband get a work permit when i get mine ? or will he only get a resident permit/visa which wouldn't allow him to get a job ?

If he qualifies for a work permit, what would be the limitations/restrictions on this permit (would he need an employer to sponsor him to get this permit ??........any limitations on duration ?....etc)

He's an IT/Telecom Engineer with experience as a Technical Proejct Manager if that could be of any help.

Your husband is eligible to apply for a work permit at the same time as yours on the basis of the NOC skill level of your occupation. If approved, his permit could be issued at the same time and would have the same expiration as your own.
