Skilled Worker Visa: Year Working Experience

Postby franciscosts on Fri Jun 29, 2007 1:13 pm

Hi, can someone help me with my situation? I just graduated from a Canadian College with a Business degree. I wanted to come to my country and find out if I could adapt. However, I miss Canada and I want to submit the permanent residence status.

My situation is this one: I understand you need one year experience, so my question is do you need to work for one year for a company (a job related to your career) or can you switch jobs. For example, currently I have been working for 7 months in a multinational company, but I received another job offer. Can I switch jobs (while I wait to get the permanent approval) or I have to wait one year in my current job and then quit? Finally, what do you need to prove you have been working for one year: Invoices, or Referral letters from your job.

Thank you
