HI, I am a Guatemalan family therapist that is currently leaving in the US wiht a J-1 visa. I will be leaving on Aug 26th to my home country and wanted to apply before I arrive to Guatemala to the skilled worker visa. However, I was reading in the CIC website that as for Sept. 1 there is simplified application process,

so I was wondering if I need to apply to the simplified process or the regular one?

If the application is submitted following September 1st (to offices other than Buffalo), you would be required to apply as per the new system.
