Relative in Canada

Hello,

I do have a question about relatives in Canada, on the new form that they release for the simplified skilled worker immigrant, the form ask if you have a relative in Canada. I do have relatives in Canada but he was a cousin of my father, can this be still consider? Is he can still be my uncle to the form?

Uncle or Aunt - who may be real brother or sister of one your parents. The cousin of your father may not be consider here as your uncle, as I understood.

E. Relatives in Canada:
- You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner has a relative (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, sibling, child of a grandparent, aunt/uncle, or grandchild of a parent, niece or nephew) who lives in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
