Hi,

I have a valid WP upto April 2012,My wife visted to canada as a dependant in Aug 2011,at the time of port entry,the validity to stay in canada was given as Jan 2012.

My Question is ,if she leaves Canada in NOV 2011 ,whether she can renter Canada in Jan 2012(She has a valid dependant visa upto Mar 2012).

Also ,if she visit Canada again ,whether she can extend her stay as per my WP?If so whethr that can be dont at PORT of entry?Will they charge anything for that?

You need to determine if your spouse has a valid multiple entry visa, which may be separate from any permit that she has been granted. If she does have a valid visa for re-entry valid until March 2012, then there should be no bar to returning in January. If not, then a new entry visa must be sought prior to returning to Canada. This all assumes that she is not a national of a country that is passport-visa-exempt.
