I got my fingerprints taken at a private agency (www.policecheck.com) and they told me that RCMP may take up to 6 months to process the request. They recommended that I submit my PR application without the RCMP police certificate. I sent it off about a month ago and I am now nearly ready to submit my PR application.

Should I send my application off without the RCMP Police certificate ?

When I sent the RCMP request off, I listed the visa office where I will apply in the "contributing agency" section of the form.

Most visa offices will accept applications in the absence of police clearances.
