Questions

First of all, Thank you David and all those great people to help us all on this.

I have some Questions:

1) PGWP:
Is it a problem if I have submitted an application and I re apply for It 2 weeks later at the border? I want to re apply because I know that its faster at the border.

2) Common Law work permit:
If my common law parter is getting a PGWP. Can I apply for a work permit? Or it has to be a skilled worker permit only?

I am not certain that they will process your PGWP application at a port of entry, especially if the case is already pending. Reports here have tended to suggest very fast turnaround times for inland PGWP applications.

As the PGWP does not carry a skill designation, the provisions of the spousal work permit would not typically apply.
