Question on Marital Status

Postby jesa on Tue Mar 02, 2010 4:21 am

hi, I have an application on TWP, and I am already married for 6 years but I'm not using the surname of my husband, all my documents i submitted are in my maiden name, the coe, nbi clearence, passport, training certificates, social security static info, all that in my maiden name, i submitted also my birth cert. and marriage contract which means i didn't deny that I am married. Is this consider a problem? or it will affect my application on my TWP application? considering that I have enough education and experience the same as the job offer in my LMO.

Use of a spouse's surname is not a deciding factor in an application. You appear to have supplied reasonable documents to clearly identify yourself and your marital status. As such, I would not expect that this should have a bearing on a case.
