Hi,

I had travelled from Boston to New York office to submit a WP application on Jan 24th after obtaining a positive LMO. The Consultate gave me a sheet back with 7th Feb 2011 as the collection date for my passport. However when I went on 7th again , they didnt seem to have it ready and have sighted an excess of applications as a reason for additional delays.

I am concerned because it has been 2 months since I have had the job offer and the LMO and the WP have together have taken nearly 6 weeks. Is there any way to expediate the processing or follow up on statuses? Currently I have been promised a call once the processing is complete but am not sure when.

I wanted to know if you got your WP yet. We are waiting for ours, it has been a month now and no clue about any information and also no details given for tracking too.

There is unfortunately no mechanism for expedition. Current delays in NYC are reaching 10-12 weeks in many cases.
