hi!!
i'm from new delhi india.. i've got a job offer as a convenience store manager in canada and and m in the process of filing my papers....the consultant i've hired tells me that i can apply for a pr after six months in canada..... is it true?....since the job that i'll be taking up is not on the hrsdc list .....plz help

There is not enough detail about the program that you are pursuing, whether or not a work permit has been obtained, etc. However, other than programs like the Live-in-Caregiver Program, there are not generally minimum requirements for residence in Canada prior to pursuing permanent resident status.
