PR Filed frm New-Delhi..looking for Work Permit. Wht do I do

Hello Friends.

I just wanted some feedback from you, in case someone has a similar situation like me. I actually applied for Canadian Permanent Immigration(Federal) at New-Delhi Consulate ~4 years ago. I am looking a way to escalate this process so that I can get PR asap. Any suggestions you guys have? I have family in Canada having businesses, just fyi! Anything that can help me ??

I am currently working in United States on Work Visa since last 3 years.

I also came across this clause, I aint sure how can I make use of this :

Facilitated Processing of Information Technology Workers

The Pilot Project for Information Technology Workers was established through a collaboration of the Software Human Resources Council of Canada, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, and Citizenship and Immigration Canada as an effort to alleviate a shortage of software professionals in Canada. The requirement for HRSDC confirmation was removed for those professionals meeting the requirements of seven occupational definitions.

Any ideas/suggestions/immigration attorneys links will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to all of you and God Bless!!

The IT worker program that you refer to does not directly affect a permanent resident application. It is an exemption from a Labour Market Opinion for certain types of foreign workers and leads to a temporary work permit. A job offer for work in Canada Canadian company is a requirement.

Obtaining such a work permit can grant additional points towards a PR application and could increase the likelihood of an interview waiver.

Thank you so very much David for replyin back. I appreciate your time.
Can you please advise,if you can, that what should I do to expedite my application for PR which I lodged in New-Delhi? Its too much of a wait and since I have resources on me, I want to expedite the application. What are my options to get it out of the queue or interview waiver and get PR asap?

Thanks again in advance for your time and guidance:)
