Post Graduation Working Permit to PR (simplifiede app?)

Postby hlee on Tue May 01, 2007 3:00 pm

Hello,

I am originally from Taiwan, came to Canada in 1995. Studied in Canada since grade 7. I am currently working under the post graduation working permit and would like to know if I qualify for applying for PR.

My concern right now is that my working permit expires in early August 2007, which leaves me less than three months to apply for my PR. Is there any way I can stay in Canada while applying for PR?

Several questions and concerns arised as I was going through the PR
information on the CIC website, and I was hoping that you may be able to help me out.

1. What is the difference between simplified application and the
original (in terms of choosing potential candidates).

2. Is Buffalo my only option? Does it really have the longest processing time?

3. Where should I submit my application if Buffalo is not the only
choice I have. Which city has the shortest processing time?

Thank you
hlee
