Police Clearance

Postby anvirm111 on Sun Aug 20, 2006 10:05 am

I checked the requirements in applying for residence visa and one of them is police clearance from each country where the applicant lived.

My husband is working now in Alberta and we are planning to apply for permanent visa after a year. We lived and worked in Saudi Arabia. He is the only who was able to get a police clearance. I did not have time to apply for it. Will it be a problem for us in our application eventually?

Please advise.

The absence of such a document can delay an application considerably, or result in refusal of the case. You should begin an immediate effort to obtain it, and document such. If you fail to obtain it, evidence of the effort may satisfy the official.
