I am a South African and entered Canada to work on a one year work permit, working for Whistler and Blackhomb in Whistler Canada last year, I started working for Mcdonalds in Whistler 3 months ago and the owner had decided to sponsor me to extend my work visa. My existing original work permit has expired on the 26 November and due to family health issues I have returned to South Africa on the 25 th of November, I have received a positive lmo for my new application but the work permit has not yet been approved and is still busy being processed. I am due to fly back to canada this friday 9 December. Will they let me enter canada to work and if not will they let me enter as a visitor as my multiple entry visitors visa expires even though i only have a one way ticket into Canada?

It is not clear when your prior entry visa expires or expired. If it has already expired, you will need to await the issuance of the work permit approval and/or a new entry visa prior to the ability to return to Canada.
