Paying for work Permit

Postby beckwim on Thu Jan 25, 2007 2:04 am

Hello all! If I am applying to a US embassy for a Work Permit, do I pay in US Dollars or Canadian Dollars. If you pay the $150 fee in canadain dollars, how does one go about doing that if they are an american citizen. How do you account for the exchange rate, Can you just pay with your credits card and not worry about currency? any help would be great. Thanks!

If you look at the consultate's website you are applying to they specify the forms of payment they accept. Most do not take credit card.
Here is the link to Buffalo:

At the bottom there is also a link to the amount to pay the fees in CAD or USD.
