Hi,
I am a house wife in Canada.I have more than 5 yrs of working experience and want to continue here.I have applied for open work permit inside Canada through mailing(paper application) waiting period for application process is long.I have USA visitor visa as well.I heard at port of entry I can get open work permit.
1. What are docuements required at port of entry if I visit USA and come back Canada?
2. Do I need to submit again fees or I have to show fee reciept which I already paid to Immigration?

Your eligibility to seek a work permit at a port of entry is based on your nationality, and not possession of a US visa alone. If you are not yourself passport visa exempt, then you may not seek a work permit at a port of entry.
