hi,
i will be out of canada while in between jobs. my current live~in caregiver work permit will expire while i'm out of the country, and i really need to go back to my home country.
upon applying for a re~entry visa, i will only have my newly issued open work permit (upon first stage approval of PR application) and a job offer to be a receptionist from a new employer.
the way i understand it, usually, a returning worker has to be working for a current employer already and will be resuming employment once back in canada, but in my case, for my re~entry visa application (under open permit status) i will only have a job offer letter from a canadian employer who really intends to hire me once i get my open permit.
will the canadian embassy accept and consider that even if it's only a job offer from a canadian employer?
or since i am in between jobs, should i apply for an interim work permit before leaving the country?
does the canadian embassy also consider an interim work permit to grant a re~entry visa?
hope you can shed some light on my case. thanks so much!
