I have few questions on Canadian workpermit and PR and it will be of great help if you could assist me.I am on H1B in the US and my husband has a valid workpermit for Canada. Does this automatically qualify me for obtaining a WorkPermit? Also, we would like to obtain a PR in Canada so that I can be independent and take up work there.Will my being in the US and working here, reduce the processing time of application? What would be the best way for us here?

You are not automatically eligible for a work permit. However, depending on the duration of your husband's work permit and the duration of its validity, you may be eligible to seek an open work permit on that basis. Your employment in the USA would not necessarily have a direct impact on a PR application at present, but your husband's possession of a work permit could be a benefit if the conditions or Arranged Employment are met.
