old passport expire date: april 27 2010
new passport expire date : 2015

i submit a form for an extension for work permit on nov. 10 2010 because my workpermit will expires on nov 28 2010. i submit all the application needed including my "OLD" passport which will expire on april 2011. I submitted my old passport copy because i was running out of time. if i waited for my new passport it will take a month to be renewed.. My problem is what will happened if the cic will not consider my application beacause of my passport copy (old passport) that they have will expire soon..
is there anyway to send them my new passport or inform them that i have a new passport for my application?

pls help me...
