I am a recent grad from UA in Edmonton. There is this company that is interetsed to hire me and work in Toronto. The problem is they want me to start ASAP.

Now, I know there is this visa office in Toronto that issues work permit within a day if you have proof that employer needs you immediately.

So my questions are, can I go to Toronto and apply work permit there? And, what does the company have to provide to "proof that they need me immediatey"?

If not, has anyone suceed fast-tracked a work permit from the visa office in Calgary?
