My boyfriend works for an American company that has a sister company in Canada. He would like to move here and work for that company. What is the fastest and easiest way to get him here! How long is the process? Does he apply for a work visa or a work permit? If work visa's are only 12 months then what happens? If we marry during those 12 months does that make it easier? Anyone have any suggestions?

He can pursue a work permit (if the Canadian division makes him an offer of employment) or a permanent resident application.
