Hello, we are a young english couple with a 10month old son and currently live in spain, we are looking to go to Canada in the early part of 2009. I am an electrician and my common law partner is a Food development technologist. We have not applied yet for our PR as we are unsure weather to go on a visitors visa and then apply there or here in europe. As our son is 10 months already we would like to get there and settle before he starts school. We have many friends there as we have visited many times before. Our choice of settlement is ottawa. please could you advise us on the best way to gain entry and a work permit given our criteria and time limit.
