I am an Australian married to a Canadian and we have our spousal submitted to immigration but I am wondering can I apply for a open work permit while the application is been processed.I am in Canada now and I am in my forties.Or what other way is the for me to work in Canada as I we need me to earn an income while we wait.thank you this is urgent pls.

Once you receive approval in principle for your inland spousal sponsorship, you can apply for an open work permit. Prior to that, a job offer from a Canadian employer would be a prerequisite.
