I am an Indian national currently in Atlanta. Need to apply for a long term work permit to Canada. Can the same be done from the US or do I need to travel to India?
Also How long does it take to get a Short Term work Permit?

You may use a visa office in the USA if you have been legally admitted to the USA. An application can take anywhere between one day and several weeks and even months depending on the circumstances of the case.
