Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings!

My current employer had applied for LMO and the application is with Service Canada since 10th October, 2011. It has been more than 13 weeks with them. When I asked the visa/foreign deputation team(employer specific) for an update, they told me the following:

" Service Canada is conducting an audit/assessment. Since this is the first assessment we are not sure how long it will take. Nor to the lawyers know or the Government agency itself as this is a new requirement. However we are hoping a speedy conclusion to this. "

Hence, I would like to know how much time do the Service Canada team will take from here?


Also, please kindly tell me how much time on an average will the Service Canada team will take to process a single LMO application? And what would be the workflow once the Service Canada team receives the application. As this is a new process, were there any issues which the Service Canada team faced/facing while processing the LMO applications?

I would highly appreciate being provided with the information as requested. Thanks in advance.
