I have a work visa as a Software Developer in a specific company valid until 2009. But I am thinking of changing employer and the position is IT Systems/Analyst.
Is the new work permit can be applied at the border?
Is IT Systems/Analyst can be considered included in the jobs under the Facilitated IT Program wherein HRDSC approval is not needed?

A new work permit would be required; applicants who are exempt from the requirement of a passport (visitor) visa may process most work permits at a Canadian port of entry. "Systems Analyst" is not an occupation which is included within the provisions of the Facilitated Processing of Information Technology Workers program.
