Hi! I am new in this forum. I am a Filipino still working here in Riyadh, KSA. I started to apply my PR last February of 2006. According from my agency in Canada, my PR application is on process as of this time and my documents are with the immigration lawyers. They told me that they are waiting for my English score report for them to resume the processing of my PR visa.

My agency told me to apply for a Work Permit visa. So in my case, i will be holding two applications (dual intent). If they grant me a WP visa and started working in Canada, what will be the effect in my PR application? Is it possible that the CIC will grant a PR visa before my WP visa expires?
