Hello David,

What does the below statment exactly means?

"Education: Bachelors Degree or a 2-year Post-secondary diploma/certification with a computing element."

I dont have bachelors degree convocation for my engineering (16 yrs of education). Because I completed the course but I have failed in few final year papers. So I am appearing for those exams. But I have lot of certifications like CCNA (From Cisco), MCSE (From Microsoft), CEH (From EC Council), BS7799 (From BSI) etc and more than 3 years of IT Industry experience. Still will I be eligible to apply for workpermit under Software developer as I have a offer from a top IT company in Canada. One of the attorney in Canada said my course completion certificate is enough to get my workpermit. But I am confused. Please advice. Thanks in Adavcne.

Best Regards,
Sardaar Ji.

In any instance in which a degree or other academic credential is referenced as an immigration requirement, graduation is mandatory to fulfill such. The certifications that you refer to are not otherwise sufficient to meet such requirements, although they are perhaps more useful in actual industry settings.
